I am disabled and, at times, I need a scooter to get around in public. Recently, I bought a 2026 Palisade and had my scooter lift transferred from my 2024 Silverado High Country truck. Apparently, the Hyundai has problems with the lift because it thinks it is a trailer and is creating havoc with FCA with a steering wheel in the instrument cluster. Does anyone know how to get the vehicle to understand it is not towing a trailer so, I can get the warning malfunction cleared? Local Hyundai dealer will not touch it because they told me they did not want to be held libel.
