16.0 update ready on april 28,2022

Here's a list of changes that only talks about the map, but I read on another forum that other features have changed, such as Android Auto being full screen now. No clue if that's true. I hope they also changed the radio screen and allow presets to be re-ordered.

they did both of those.

I did the update yesterday. Very easy process that took just under an hour. The radio is revamped. The tubes are gone, more information is shown on what is playing and you can reorder your presets. The Nav System was also changed. I haven't tried it yet, but it says when you put in a destination, it will give you route options that you can select from. I think most of the changes we have heard about in other forums are correct.

UPDATE: the firmware update is officially live again. The version number, according to the website, is now LX2.USA.S5W_M.V008.001.220504.

You're using the wrong update if you have the navigation.

If you have the infotainment system with nav, just download the updater. If you have the system without nav, you take that password-protected zip file, put it on a USB drive and insert it in the car. You're not supposed to know the password.
