Not a fan of that design choice either. Accents the C pillar and back end in a Chevy Traverse (latest version) type fashion that does not appeal to me. Good candidate for a blackout job.

It's one of the first thing that caught my eye when I first saw the side profile. Shouldn't be too hard to wrap over.

I kind of like it .. sets the Palisade a-side from so many of the others that come to a 'point" at the rear.

Makes it look like a Hearst when ordered in black, better when white. It blends in more and disappears.

This is my least favorite styling feature. From the side, a black or moonlight cloud Palisade looks a lot like a hearse! Will consider blacking it out.

I like it. It's an easy identifier that no other vehicle has.

I agree that it was NOT a great styling choice. I have the SILVER paint so it is LESS of an aesthetic issue

I saw a blacked out Palisade and it was an amazing experience.

I have a white Palisade and never really noticed it until now. Black it out if it bothers you...

With the silver or hyper white it actually looks good.
I wanted the silver color but wife wanted Beige interior
And there is no Beige interior in the silver limited trim
With that trim we don't have to look twice to see if it is
our vehicle. We wanted an SUV that didn't look like every
other SUV in the parking lot.
That is one of the reasons we didn't get a KIA Telluride
among other things it was missing.

I actually like it. My Palisade is white and I got that color partially because all of the bright trim blends in and does not show as much as the darker colors.
