SmartLiner Floor Liner (Floor Mats)

I have been looking for a floor liner that would cover the gap in the Palisade's 2nd row captain chair 7 seat configuration. As of yet, WeatherTech does not cover this area. I sent an email to SmartLiner and they stated they are waiting for the 7 seat configuration to be released. They sent me a representative image and asked if I wanted to be placed on their notification list when it is available. Of course, I said yes. I just received information that the 7 seat version will be ready for market within 4-6 weeks.

Here is an update to my research.

I received an email from SmartLiner regarding the captain's chair configuration floor liners. This is what they said

Unfortunately, we do not have an update on the ETA of the liner. We truly apologize for the inconvenience. Due to the covid-19, many of our shipments have been delayed.

I do see that WeatherTech does have this configuration available for $260, which can be viewed here:

Not sure if I should sacrifice my floor for now in hopes of saving some money by waiting for SmartLiner to come to market, or just save my floors now and pay extra. What do you think?

what kind of material are the SmartLiners? ie. rubber, hard plastic, ....

There are some other manufacturers that have a more luxurious appearance than this or weathertech. Not criticizing your pick, just making sure you are aware of other options.

don't appear to have a lip.. but that is ok with me.. just looking for something more durable than typical OEM carpet mats

I prefer simple rubber (a lip is fine), but most of the more expensive (nicer?) options seem towards the molded/rigid end of the spectrum?
